Paper: https://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/162835/3706598.3713697.pdf Participants were first shown original images, then after a delay they were shown a stimulus corresponding to their assigned condition, and later memory tests were applied to check recall and confidence. Across 200 participants: AI-generated videos made from AI-edited images created 2.05× more false memories.
